High Larynx
喉位偏高

The larynx sits high; the voice easily turns tight and sharp.
In One Sentence
The larynx sits high during phonation. Only the "high" position can be reliably distinguished for now (low and mid positions need a personal baseline), so only that tier is detected.
How to Read It
Watch the larynx-related charts (Side Profile / Throat Voice Warning). Larynx position is estimated from F3+F4; the hint appears when the estimate is clearly high (roughly F3+F4 ≥ 6.95kHz).
Why Does This Happen?
| Cause | Description |
|---|---|
| Insufficient closure, extrinsic compensation | The folds can't close enough on their own, so the larynx rises to "help" |
| Excessive air pressure | Too much subglottal pressure pushes the larynx up |
| Reaching for pitch | Forcing up toward the passaggio drags the larynx along |
