Resonance depth is shallow; the voice lacks a sense of space.
In One Sentence
Insufficient resonance depth — the voice is shallow and pale, lacking depth of space. The symptom has two tiers: the lighter one reads "Depth: Insufficient", the shallower one "Depth: Shallow".
How to Read It
Watch the Resonance Depth chart. When the score drops below the lower half of the "medium" band (about 0.55), it reads "Depth: Insufficient"; inside the "shallow" band (below about 0.40) it reads "Depth: Shallow". The depth score mainly reflects high-frequency resonance in the 2–5kHz band (about 85% of the weight).
Why Does This Happen?
| Cause | Description |
|---|---|
| The resonating space never opens | Not enough pharyngeal space, so the high overtones can't come out |
| The larynx rides high | A raised larynx compresses the resonance tube |
| The sound sits too far forward | The voice concentrates at the front of the mouth with no depth |
