Insufficient vocal fold thinning — the vocal folds fail to thin adequately in the upper register, causing difficulty with high notes.
Detection criteria:
When F0 is high but H1-H2 remains elevated, it indicates the CT (cricothyroid) muscle is not sufficiently active, and the vocal folds have not thinned appropriately for the pitch.
