๐ Quick Start
No vocal knowledge needed โ just follow along.
Step 1: Open SonaLab and Allow Microphone Access
On first launch, the system will ask whether to allow microphone access. Click "Allow".
If you're using an external mic or audio interface, click the ๐ microphone button in the top-right corner and select your device.
Step 2: Click "Start Measuring"
Click the โถ Start Measuring button in the toolbar. Speak or sing into your mic and the charts on screen start moving.
Like an EKG โ you make sound, it responds.
Step 3: Sing an "Ah" and Watch What Changes
Sing a long, comfortable "Ah~" at an easy volume. You'll see:
- the waveform rise and fall (the shape of your sound)
- pitch display the note you're singing
- the TA/CT Balance show the "thickness" of your voice
Analogy
๐ช Imagine: SonaLab is a "mirror for your voice". A regular mirror shows your face โ SonaLab shows how your voice is produced inside your body.
