What operating systems does SonaLab support?

Four tiers: L0 Student (free) to get started; L1 Basic (Early Bird $27 one-time, was $98) gives you a measuring tool for your voice; L2 Advanced ($41/year) with side profile and vowel tracking to see the physiology; L3 Expert ($55/year) for vocal teachers, including AI analysis and student management.

How do I activate a license?

After purchase, you will receive an activation code (e.g. SL-L1-XXXXXX). Log in to the SonaLab website, go to the License Management page in your dashboard, and enter the code to activate.

How many devices can I use with one license?

Each license can be activated on a certain number of devices. You can view and manage your activated devices in the Device Management page of your dashboard, and deactivate devices you no longer use.

What is the latency of SonaLab's real-time analysis?

SonaLab runs 15 professional DSP analysis modules simultaneously with latency under 10ms, ensuring you get truly real-time voice feedback.

Charts aren't moving after opening SonaLab?

Check two things: 1. Did you click ▶ Start Measuring? Charts only move in measuring mode. 2. Is the correct microphone selected? Click the 🎙 button in the top-right to confirm.

Too many charts — where do I start?

Totally normal! Start with just Voice Health + Symptom Detection + TA/CT Balance + Closure. Uncheck others in the sidebar to keep things clean.

How do I switch between L0/L1/L2/L3?

In the toolbar you'll see L0 L1 L2 L3 buttons. Click the one you want — the highlighted button is your current tier.

Can I record my sessions?

Yes! Click ⏺ in the playback bar to start recording. After recording, you'll enter playback mode where you can review voice data at any point on the timeline. Press Space to add annotations while recording.

Where are my recordings saved?

Recordings are saved in SonaLab's file library. Click the 📁 Library tab at the top to view and manage all your recordings.

What do the chart colors mean?

SonaLab uses a unified traffic-light color system: 🟢 Green = good, keep going; 🟠 Orange = needs attention; 🔴 Red = needs adjustment; 🔵 Blue = informational, no judgment.
